My Approach

From the moment my hands touch a dog, something shifts….

My own breathing begins to slow…and before long…I notice the dog's breathing soften and deepen as well….Soon our breathing seems to find the same rhythm.

Then I notice something else—the owner's breathing begins to slow too.

The whole room settles into a sense of calm.

This is where my work begins.

Over many years, I have developed what I call listening hands. Rather than trying to force change, I listen through touch. My hands perceive subtle changes in tissue texture, joint motion, fascial tension, and the body's natural rhythms that often go unnoticed. They guide me to the places that need the most attention.

My sense of touch has become exceptionally refined, allowing me to recognize when a dog's body has begun to compensate for pain, injury, or restriction—often long before those patterns are obvious to the eye. Left unaddressed, these compensations can place increasing stress on other parts of the body and possibly contribute to injury over time.

One of my greatest passions is helping dogs before those patterns become more deeply established. However, I also work with dogs experiencing acute and chronic conditions, including cranial cruciate ligament injuries, luxating patellas, spinal conditions, neurological disorders, urinary incontinence, and other mobility challenges.

With a gentle, non-invasive touch, I work to restore healthy relationships between the body's structures so that movement becomes easier, communication throughout the nervous system is enhanced, circulation improves, and the body's natural healing processes are supported.

One of the greatest joys of this work is seeing not only the dog relax and become more comfortable, but watching the entire family breathe a little easier. There is something profoundly healing about seeing a beloved companion move with less pain, more confidence, and renewed vitality.

It is a privilege to support dogs and the people who love them, and I would be honored to be part of your dog's healing journey.
